Snell Roundhand
Script font (1965)
Concep and design were both based on 18th-century roundhand
scripts. The font has an elegant and festive feel and its
capitals can also be used as initials mixed with other
alphabets. Snell Roundhand Script is well-suited to middle
length texts and headlines.

Matthew Carter (1937)
Born in London, Matthew Carter is a Master of type design.
Carter began his career making type the 15th-century way.
His father, a famous English type historian and book designer,
landed his 17-year-old son an internship at a Dutch type
foundry. There, Carter cut metal punches much as Gutenberg
once did. Carter's ability to modulate this tension and
create highly functional typefaces that are both distinctive
and beautiful is one of the most admirable aspects of his
work. The subtlety of his hand can be seen in designs like
Snell Roundhand, Charter,™ and Miller® type families.
Carter's career in type design has witnessed the transition
from physical metal type to digital type. his typefaces can
be purchased through various type foundries online.
